Oval Beach
July 23, 2008So after sleeping in, Kate and I walked down to Oval Beach on Lake Michigan. So beautiful! I know I say that about everything here..I just really have no idea how to begin to explain it any other way. A bit different for this Southern California native, but I loved it all the same. As a young girl I grew up on a lake, but Lake Michigan is so big of course, it looks just like the ocean except the waves are smaller. Just to sit on the dunes and feel the breeze, I felt like I was in Anne of Green Gables! Which makes sense since Kate and I are bosom friends. <3

wow! what did you shoot these with? amazing. also do you develop your own prints or do you get them processed somewhere else? I’m so in love with the art of the darfroom, but it seems like that is becoming something of a lost art…
