August 15, 2008[you're probably wondering why home girl can never manage to properly focus her film shots. Well, aside from the fact that I'm shooting with a f1.8 55mm which is hard to focus manually anyways, my camera is ancient and the viewfinder is a disaster! So mix that together with an astigmatism and you've got perfectly blurred film photos. Anyways..]
This was a LONG time coming, and after she recently cut her hair yet again, I couldn’t resist any longer!

Lovely photos. I like the feeling you capture in a lot of your pictures. I just have to ask though, how much your people shots are from your direction, and how much of it is the person your shooting doing their own thing? In other words… Are you constantly telling her how to stand and sit and lay, where to look, etc. or was that her creative input?
Either way, I truly enjoy your perspectives, and am just curious, as I am into photography, but don’t feel as pro when it comes to shooting people.
